Funds for Local Schools

Internal Service Fund Funds

Internal Service Funds are utilized within the bookkeeping system of the school district to keep track of major functions that may serve the whole school district. An example would be a centralized printing operation where buildings within the school district may be charged for the materials or printing from the central printing operation. It is a method by which the local school district can keep track of the cost or expenditures within the school district's operation.
